Tennis: Roger Federer

Roger Federer is a Swiss tennis player. He is my favourite one. He was born th 8th of august in 1981. When he was a boy he didn't just play tennis, he also was in a basketball, futboll and badminton team, but he finally chose the tennis. He is an extrodinary player. Not only because he plays well, also because it looks very easy to play tennis when you see him playing. It looks like a ridiculous game, while it is one of the most complicated sports. He is the onliest player in history to reach the final at least five times in each Grand Slam. He has won five World Tours Finals and he is the only one to have been in the final of each Masters 1000. He got the gold medal in doubles in Beijing 2008 with his partner Stanislas Wawrinka. He spent 8 years as the number one in the ATP ranking. And during most of this years he has been competing with Nadal. His rivalry with Nadal is considered one of the longest in the sports world. Eventhough he is a fabulous tennis player, in 2011 he was choosen as the second most relyable and respected person in this world after Nelson Mandela. He has a family. He married Mirka Vavrinec in 2009. She was first a tennis player but she stopped because of an injury. The 23rd of july of 2009, he got his two twins daughters. In 2006 he did the obligatory military service for the Pope Benedict XVI.
